The Portfolios Section showcases selected works or projects based on specific categories. To display your portfolio items correctly, follow the steps below to create categories and link them to the section.

🔹 Step 1: Create Portfolio Categories
Before selecting portfolio content in the customizer, you must first create the necessary categories from the WordPress dashboard.
➤ Go to:
Dashboard > Posts > Categories > Add New Category
Required Fields:
- Name
This is how the category name will appear on your website.
Example:Web Applications,UI/UX Design,Mobile Apps - Slug
The slug is the URL-friendly version of the category name. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
Example:web-applications,ui-ux-design - Parent Category (Optional)
Categories can have a hierarchy. If you want this to be a subcategory under another category, select the parent category here.
Example: A category calledMobile Appsunder a parent categorySoftware Development. - Description (Optional)
You may provide a brief description of the category, though it’s not required.

While adding or editing posts/projects, assign them to the relevant categories you just created.
